The 4th Guangdong College Fitness and Bodybuilding Championship & the 46th Guangzhou Fitness and Bodybuilding Championship were successfully held in Guangzhou from May 29 to June 1. More than 600 athletes from 54 universities across Guangdong province participated in the event, one of the most influential college-level fitness and bodybuilding competition in southern China.

Guided by teachers Lu Shihan and Zhao Xiaoli, the SCNU bodybuilding team won 8 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 3 bronze medals in the competition. The team secured first place in the open group team total score on the opening day and finished second in the final overall team ranking among all participating universities, achieving a new milestone.

During the competition, the team members delivered consistent performances. Built on long-term rigorous training, they excelled in multiple categories including fitness, fitness model, classic bodybuilding, and women’s fitness, winning numerous accolades. This fully demonstrated the students’ competitive level and youthful positive spirit.
