Experts and scholars from all over the world gathered in Guangzhou and delivered excellent reports. Among them, were several world-renowned scholars such as Professor Martin Buhmann and Professor Armin Iske, both from Germany, Professor Sun Xingping from the United States, Professor Han Yaozong of from Hong Kong, China, and Professor Lu Lintian from Taiwan, China, covering topics such as regenerative kernel functions, radial basis functions, high-dimensional data approximation, numerical solutions for partial differential equations, and sparse machine learning methods, etc. Besides, they had deep discussions about data analysis and machine learning methods in the international frontier research topic – Mathematics, and carried out multilateral cooperation research. This effectively laid a solid theoretical foundation for the industrial upgrading and transformation of China, and promoted the cultivation of high-level professionals and technical talents in the area of intelligent science.
