Wang Enke firstly introduced the basic situation and latest development of our school, and then suggested that the two universities should join hands in areas such as joint training of master and doctoral candidates, teacher training, on-site management, etc.. Meanwhile, he especially pointed out that these efforts are important measures taken by SCNU in order to boost teacher education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, promoting the development of teacher education and cultivating high-quality talents, so as to give a new impetus to the development of the bay area through bilateral cooperation.

Guo Qixing said that Hong Kong attached great importance to continuing education. He hoped that both sides could cooperate in joint cultivation of master candidates making use of SCNU advanced resources in various disciplines, so as to provide Hong Kong with talents adaptable to the development in the new era. According to Hong Kong market research, there is a great demand for postgraduate degree education in psychology and physical education, which are precisely the most advanced disciplines of SCNU.
Liu Xuelan, deputy dean of the School of Psychology, and Deng Xinghua, deputy dean of the School of Physical Education, introduced the development of relevant disciplines and their past experience in cooperating with degree education at institutes of higher education in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Besides, An Ning, deputy director of the Graduate School, Qin Honglei, deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, and Niu Yan, director of the Division of Academic Degrees of the Hong Kong Financial Services Institute further discussed how to smoothly carry out the proposed project at a later stage.
The two sides unanimously agreed to strengthen bilateral exchange and build a world-class teacher education and training platform against the backdrop the greater bay area, aiming to play a leading role and set an example for the development of bay area education with the establishment of a Teacher Education College in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
