On December 6, a teaching team from South China Normal University, led by principal instructor Li Ranmeng, presented the course "Career Competency Training and Employment Guidance" and awarded the gold medal at the final of the 3rd Guangdong Provincial Competition of the National College Student Career Planning Contest.
The contest featured fierce competition from 125 colleges and universities. The evaluation process, consisting of an on-line review and a live competition, rigorously assessed the course innovation, implementation, outcomes, and the quality of teaching presentations.
Designed for junior and senior undergraduates, the course is designed by the Career and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center under the Student Affairs Department, aiming to transform students from "passive job seekers" into "proactive life designers," and enhance their job market competitiveness and long-term career development capabilities. It was previously recognized as a 2024 Guangdong Provincial Exemplary Course for Employment and Entrepreneurship.
