The final rounds of the China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2025 (Guangdong division) concluded on August 4 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. SCNU secured a total of six gold and 17 silver awards, ranking second in the province in terms of the number of gold and silver awards.
Twenty-three entries from SCNU advanced to the provincial finals, achieving a 85.19% success rate for applications, the highest in the province. Besides, SCNU was honored with a collective prize once again this year.
The 2025 competition saw 484,500 projects registered and 1,933,500 participants. Of the 2,114 projects qualified for the provincial semi-finals, 370 advanced to the finals, with 136 winners of gold awards.
Launched in 2015, the China International College Students' Innovation Competition is co-organized by the Ministry of Education with 11 other organizations. It has grown into one of the most influential innovation contests for college students nationwide. The national competition is expected to be held this September.
