From April 10 to 11, Yang Zhongmin, president of SCNU, led a delegation to visit Hainan for special research about visiting enterprises and promoting employment, and working with Hainan University (HNU).
The delegation first paid a visit to the Hainan SHINY-DAY Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd. Xing Yichuan, chairman of the enterprise and president of SCNU Alumni Association in Hainan, warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the enterprise’s development, business layout and talent demand.
The delegation then visited the Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center, Wenchang Jixing Meteorite Museum and NFT museum at Wenchang Aerospace International Film and Television Center, and learned about the technology and cultural facilities of the supercomputing center. Yang Zhongmin expressed his hope that the two sides would carry out more in-depth cooperation in the future in the fields of science and technology innovation, integration of production and education, student internship and practice, employment and entrepreneurship. The delegation also awarded SCNU's "Alumni Home" to the company.

The delegation held a meeting with Fu Xuanguo, secretary of the CPC HNU Committee. The two sides exchanged views on the development of an alumni liaison system, integration of alumni resources, student employment and entrepreneurship, and innovative paths for the universities to serve local economic and social development. The delegation also visited alumni on Hainan, and had a cordial discussion with representatives of alumni.
