SCNU kicked off the National Specialized Training Program for youth campus football teachers (Southeast China Region) on March 24, aiming to cultivate talents for schools specializing in campus football.

Chen Xiaofang, deputy secretary of the CPC SCNU Committee, addressed the opening ceremony saying that SCNU will take advantage of its role in China's new paradigm of teacher training and its top-ranking discipline of Physical Education to advance immersive training supported by professional football coaches with the guidance of "Implementation Guidelines on the Reform and Development of Chinese Youth Football".
Hosted by SCNU, sponsored by Department of Physical, Health and Arts Education of Ministry of Education, the training program gathered 300 football teachers from 8 provinces for an intensive 8-day training.
Through this initiative, School of Physical Education & Sports Science of SCNU would further promote the training program in batches for 1,500 football teachers from 8 provinces in South China.
