On March 22, the award ceremony for network and computing tracks in Huawei ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Competition took place in Guangdong Province. SCNU won 10 prizes, including 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 2 third prizes.
In the contest, student Wu Zihao from the School of Computer Science won the first prize in the Computing Track, while his instructor associate professor Liu Shouqiang received the title of "Outstanding Instructor", and SCNU earned the honor of "Outstanding Organization Award".

In addition, the team focusing on Shengteng AI track that consisted of students from the School of Computer Science and the School of Artificial Intelligence has entered the national finals. Two teams of the School of Artificial Intelligence have also succeeded in making the shortlist for the Creative Contest.
The 9th Huawei ICT Competition China Practice Competition-Guangdong Provincial Contest attracted more than 9,500 students from 122 schools. Among them, 107 SCNU students signed up for it. The contest comprised of four tracks: Network Track, Computing Track, Cloud Track and Shengteng AI Track.
