SCNU held the 2024 Guangdong University Mental Health Education Teaching Skills Finals on the Shipai campus on December 7. He Jingyu, a teacher from the SCNU Psychology Consultation Center, secured the first prize.

After preliminaries, 34 teachers stood out from more than 300 participants and took part in the finals, resulting in four first prizes. Around 100 representatives of mental health teachers observed the competition on site. Nearly 10,000 teachers and students from universities in Guangdong viewed the competition on line.
The contest was hosted by the Department of Education of Guangdong province, aiming at strengthening the development of mental health education teams at universities, and improving the teaching quality in mental health courses for college students.
SCNU has always attached great importance to students’ physical and mental health and growth. With continuously strengthened staffing and facilities, great progress and achievements have been made and various projects were highly rated.
