Yan Yongze, a student from the School of Computer Science, was awarded the title of "CCF Elite College Student" by the China Computer Federation (CCF) at the CCF Elite Collegiate Award launching ceremony held in Hengdian, in Zhejiang province on October 24.
Yan got a perfect score of 500 points in the 33rd Certified Software Professional (CSP) and ranked the top 0.01% among the 223,000 certified individuals nationwide. He excels in his studies and has won more than ten national and provincial awards in computer-related competitions.

The China Computer Federation set up CCF Elite Collegiate Award in 2012 in order to motivate outstanding students to strive for excellence. A total of 101 students from 49 universities across China were honored with the title this time.
