SCNU won one first prize, two second prizes, two third prizes and three Excellent Instructor Awards in the final of the 2024 "Tin Ka Pin Cup" Teaching Skills Competition for full-time professional degree of the master of education in Science and Technology Education which was held from July 3 to 4.

The competition has witnessed a total of 110 participants from 24 universities across the nation in the preliminary round. After initial review, 58 competitors were shortlisted for the final, among whom included all five full-time Master's students in Science and Technology Education from the Institute of Science, Technology and Society of SCNU. With their abundant professional knowledge, excellent teaching skills and outstanding comprehensive ability, these five contestants shone brightly and won remarkable scores in the competition.
The "Tin Ka Pin Cup" Teaching Skills Competition for full-time professional degree of the master of education students is currently recognized to be one with the highest, and the most difficult level as well as the biggest among the same kind of teaching skills competitions. It aims to showcase the teaching abilities of full-time graduate students of the Master of Education degree and the achievement of the universities' cultivation, thus promoting the mutual exchange, learning and development among students, faculty and universities.
