Late last year, under the guidance of the team leader Huang Bo, vice president of the School of Physical Education & Sports Science, and coaches Feng Daoguang and Ma Lin, the SCNU Aerobics Team claimed nine medals in provincial and national competitions.

From December 20 to 22, 2019, 2019 Aerobics and Cheerleading Championship for Guangdong Universities was held at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The SCNU Aerobics Team participated in the competitions of four events in group B and won three gold medals in three events, namely the second level routine of Aerobics, the optional routine of light equipment aerobics and the first level routine of hip hop. SCNU got the fifth place in the event of the first level routine of Cheer Leading Flower Ball.

From November 12 to 18, the 15th National University Student Health & Vitality Competition and the National University Aerobics Championship were held at the China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. In this championship, the SCNU Aerobics Team won 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. The members of our school’s aerobics team trained hard and kept the spirit of solidarity with the guidance of coaches. They got excellent achievements in the fierce competitions and won honor for our school.

From 178 colleges and universities all over the country, 198 teams, more than 3,000 athletes participated in the competition. It was the largest competition since it was first held.
