On November 20, a delegation from the Confucius Institute at the University of La Réunion, France, visited South China Normal University. The delegation was led by Marjolaine Roche, general director of the Institute, and Aline Kwan, the French director of cultural activities and partnerships.

Marjolaine Roche expressed gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of the Institute's significant achievements made through joint efforts of both sides. She said that the University of La Réunion highly values its partnership with SCNU and hopes to further expand cooperation in areas such as "Chinese + Professional Skills" curricula and student cultivation, thereby elevating the bilateral partnership to a higher level.

Representatives from the School of Foreign Studies, the School of International Culture, and the School of Tourism Management introduced their schools respectively, covering aspects such as discipline development, talent cultivation, and internationalization. Both sides held in-depth discussions on issues including the joint cultivation of international students.
