Pan Wenqing, vice president of SCNU, led a delegation to France and Italy for educational cooperation and exchange visits, and held overseas talent recruitment events in Paris and Milan from November 2 to 9. The delegation visited the Rennes School of Business, the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France, and the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. There were also visits to the Chinese Embassy in France and the Consulate General of China in Milan.

In Fance, the delegation visited the Rennes School of Business and held talks with vice president Elodie Hure and the teams of relevant colleges and cooperative education programs. They discussed promoting and strengthening their joint education programs in the fields of the new economy and IT. They reached a consensus on the next steps for the preparatory work of school running and deepening scientific research cooperation.
During their visit to France, the delegation was also invited to visit the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, where they held talks with vice president Ali Douai and relevant department heads. Both sides discussed cooperation regarding the development of the Global Learning Center at the Foshan campus, the exchange of European youth to China, talent cultivation in computer science and AI, and scientific research.

In Italy, the delegation visited the Politecnico di Milano and held discussions with Professor Sergio Terzi, vice dean of the School of Management. Both sides communicated on joint student cultivation, exchanges to China, joint laboratories, and industry-university-research cooperation in the fields of computer science, AI, and big data management. Consensus on cooperation was reached.

During the visit, the delegation held global talent recruitment presentations in Paris and Milan, introducing SCNU’s educational philosophy, development initiative, and talent policies, and expressing the university’s vision for talent introduction and international development. The delegation also visited alumni representatives in France, conveying the warm greetings from Party Secretary of SCNU Wang Hengyin and SCNU president Yang Zhongmin to the alumni.


The delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in France and the Consulate General of China in Milan, and introduced SCNU’s global vision, educational exchanges and cooperation with France and Italy, and high-level talent introduction policies to Counsellor Zhou Jiagui of the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in France and Consul General Yao Liangjun of the Consulate General of China in Italy. They received their positive affirmation and strong support.
