According to the project list released by the National Office for Education Sciences Planning, South China Normal University receives funding for 15 projects, the number of which ranks second among national universities and first at the provincial level.

Among the total of 539 projects approved nationwide, SCNU has 10 projects at the state level and five supported by the Ministry of Education. They cover multiple secondary disciplines, including Education Information Technology, Educational Development Strategy, Education Policy and Leadership, Teacher Education, Higher Education, Educational Assessment,  Comparative Education and History of Education. 

These cutting-edge youth projects fully demonstrate the forward-looking vision and solid strength of the university in the field of educational research.
