A delegation led by Reiji Takehara, Managing Director of Keizai Koho Center (KKC or the Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs), accompanied by Zhou Jijun, the first-level inspector of the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, visited SCNU on May 22.
The delegation was received by Tan Weihong, director of the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation of SCNU. Tan briefed them on the overall situation of the university and the achievements made in the field of international exchange and cooperation. Representatives from KKC introduced the center and schedule about the China-Japan exchange program. Both sides also exchanged views on the international collaboration and exchange programs.
In addition, SCNU students who took part in the China-Japan student exchange program also shared their learning experiences and research interests.
So far, SCNU has sent three students to Japan under the exchange program. This program plays a significant role in enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and Japanese youth.
KKC is simultaneously a "base" of intellectual exchange on important issues related to corporate management, such as media relations, corporate social responsibility, and international relations. It has been conducting the exchange program in cooperation with the Guangdong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries since 2015.
