Vice president of South China Normal University Liu Jianwen received a delegation of Curtin University on November 1. Both sides discussed ways to further expand cooperation programs and seek new approaches for development at the meeting.

Liu first extended a warm welcome to the delegation and gave a brief introduction to the university. He said that both sides have carried out practical cooperation in joint training and cooperation in programs, curriculum and faculty teams since the formal establishment of partnership in 2008. He hoped that both universities would further strengthen communication and exchange, expand cooperation programs in more fields with higher quality based on existing programs and jointly promote the high-quality development.

Also at the meeting, the SCNU side introduced the development of several schools of SCNU to the delegation, including the International Business College, the Faculty of Engineering, the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, and the School of Semiconductor Science and Technology. Then they discussed the prospect for collaboration in joint training, research collaboration, and personnel exchange. The delegation took a campus tour and visited the University History Museum after the meeting.
