The delegation of the University of Aberdeen visited the South China Normal University Foshan campus and had discussions about education collaboration on September 3.

The Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of South China Normal University provided an update on the progress of the application for increasing master's and doctoral programs and engaged in discussions to establish the talent cultivation model for both levels. The International Business College provided an update on the changes regarding the Sino-foreign cooperative program in Finance and the work plans for establishing mutual learning centers between the two schools. Both sides engaged in discussion about the development of the talent cultivation system for undergraduate and graduate programs in Finance, as well as the feasibility of setting up mutual learning centers.
Yang welcomed the visit of the delegation and acknowledged the progress and work plans reported by the colleges. Taking the opportunity of the joint institute's update in Postgraduate Taught Master Program and PhD program, alteration of 4+0 mode in Finance Programme and the establishment of Study Hub, SCNU will keep further collaboration with the University of Aberdeen to promote the development of talent cultivation system, continuously enhance the quality of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and further accelerate the development of SCNU Nanhai campus to be built as a world-renowned international education demonstration zone, said Yang.
