President Wang Enke, on behalf of SCNU, warmly welcomed the guests from Curtin University and gave an overview of the school. He noted that SCNU attaches great importance to international cooperation and has incorporated it into SCNU's key strategies. He also emphasized the close collaboration enjoyed with Curtin University. Curtin University has always been an important partner of SCNU, and both sides have laid a solid foundation for cooperation across various fields, such as joint training, discipline development, and curriculum development, and so on.

Zhang Xiaotian expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by SCNU and briefly introduced Curtin University and Curtin 2030, their strategic plan. He mentioned that SCNU has always been one of the most important worldwide partners of Curtin University. This is the second visit of a delegation to SCNU this year. Like SCNU, Curtin University is also dedicated to internationalizing talent cultivation and looks forward to deeper communication between the two universities.
During the session, the two parties also shared deliberations on furthering cooperation in joint training, language courses, exchange visits, summer schools, and so on.
SCNU and Curtin University have conferred on setting up six Sino-Australian joint undergraduate programs, including Financial Management, Electronic Commerce, Electronic and Information Engineering, Information and Computational Science, Software Engineering and Big Data Management and Application. In addition, SCNU also collaborates with Curtin University on study abroad programs, English Language Bridging (ELB), faculty exchange and other areas.
