Dr Nathan Herzog, rotating chairman of the Advisory Committee on Public Education in California and president of the School of Education in William Jessup University, Dr Tony Hu, assistant to vice president in William Jessup University and Irene Chan, director of Office of International Project Admission visited SCNU on October 18. The two sides reached consensus on promoting the ongoing cooperation project, further developing the joint cultivation of double degrees in Pedagogy, how to obtain the teaching certificate in California, and conducting students training, teacher training and research cooperation in the School of Teacher Education in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Liu Jianwen, director of President’s Office, Xiong Jianwen, director of Office of Education Administration, Hu Jinsong, president of School of Education and Lin Wenkai, vice president of School of Teacher Education in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, were also present.

The delegation visited the School of Education of SCNU. Shi Yudan, vice president of the School of Education discussed the student communication program and form of cooperation. They also had a consultation about short-term research studies, exchange programs，Bachelor/Master/PhD joint program and whether exchange students could obtain a teaching certificate in California after studying.
