January-March
SCNU extended best New Year's wishes to students and staff and held a Spring Festival gathering.
Focusing on the theme of high-quality development, SCNU held a conference to clarify the six key tasks of the school in 2023, making a good start for the whole year.
SCNU signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Jihua Laboratory at the 2022 Advanced Display Technology Innovation Competition Summary and Major Project Signing Conference (China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition).
SCNU pocketed the National Victory Cup again in the 13th “Challenge Cup” Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Competition, with a total score ranking No.2 in Guangdong province.
April-June
SCNU held a conference on studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
SCNU topped the list of universities in Guangdong province on the proposed National Teaching Achievement Award with a total of 11 achievements.
SCNU released the official commemorative emblem for the 90th anniversary celebration.
SCNU held the 2023 Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony.
July-September
SCNU held an emeritus ceremony for retired teachers doing a good job in the tradition of the retirement ceremony.
The "National Science Education Summer School" Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training (Guangzhou Venue) was held at SCNU. China's first astronaut Yang Liwei gave lectures to science teachers.
SCNU won two first prizes and a second prize in the final competition of the third National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers, with the overall achievement tied for first place nationally.
SCNU secured two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal at the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.
The 2023 China Teacher Development Forum opened at SCNU with the theme of "Promoting the Modernization Education in China with High-quality Teacher Education".
To promote high-quality development of the school, SCNU held a summary meeting on the theme of learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
October-December
The principal studio of Wu Dongmei was officially established, which is the first national studio in Guangdong province hosted by the kindergarten principal.
Eight students from SCNU won a total of 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals at the 19th Asian Games.
The 2023 Sino-Foreign University Presidents Forum was held at SCNU, centered on the theme of "Vision & Mission of Universities in a Changing World".
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary, SCNU grandly held the 90th Anniversary Development Conference.
SCNU greeted 2024 with a New Year’s Concert.
