"Self-improvement star", "Youth broadcasting studio", "Illuminating Yela Village", "Double-row study companion" - these are the key words in my journey of getting to know Luo Yongqin, a handsome and sunny young man of the Grade of 22 Education Science Institute's primary education major. Let's focus on him now and listen to his story, and appreciate his charm.

This summer, I had the honor of joining the practice team he organized and led, giving me the opportunity to deeply understand him. During the practice process, as the team's backbone, he arranged his work in an orderly manner, prompting each group to fulfill their duties, completing the work at high speed and high efficiency. For unexpected situations during the work, he could also calmly deal with them and propose effective solutions. Working diligently and responsibly, treating people warmly and sincerely, he has gathered almost all the virtues and won everyone's recognition and love. In the days I spent with him, I gradually unraveled the mystery in my heart.

As for why he chose the path of being a teacher, he said, "During my education, I met many excellent teachers who moved me deeply. Under their influence, I also wanted to become a teacher who could bring about positive changes like spring rain." As a student of teacher education with a designated school, practice and teaching were important parts of his college life. It was during his teaching practice that he truly felt the fragility of rural children's hearts, which secretly planted the seed of the research topic of "the resilience of rural students". But the process of making the project a reality and continuously deepening it was not smooth sailing.

During the research period, his research was hindered by the pandemic, and after the research was completed, data analysis was impeded due to a lack of quantitative research learning. Faced with one obstacle after another, he said, "During this process of development, many people have supported me and shown confidence in me. I don't want to let them down, and this has become my driving force." Thus, he led his team to continuously deepen and advance the project around the topic, apply for funds asa major project, obtain the gold seed project approval, establish the "million, ten thousand, hundred" project task force, participate in the "Qingyan Cup", "Challenge Cup", "Research China" and other large events, and achieve a series of excellent results. He hopes to improve the physical and mental health of high school students through "peer education" and combine the national policy orientation to fully utilize the geographical advantage of Shanwei campus and focus on rural areas and serve rural areas to fulfill his mission.

Throughout the journey, he and his team worked day and night, studied late into the night, and exerted all their efforts. On this unknown path, he used action to break through anxiety, used discussion to stimulate thinking, and used his steps to discover the true feelings of rural areas.

On him, I saw the bearing and backbone of a normal college student, the rigor and diligence of a “Huashi” person!
