As I embarked on my journey as a student at South China Normal University, a profound connection between me and the university began to blossom. Each day, as I immersed myself in the vibrant campus life, my bond with SCNU grew stronger. From the breathtaking natural landscapes to the rich cultural heritage, SCNU has left an indelible mark on my heart. As we celebrate SCNU's 90th anniversary, I am thrilled to share my story, which encompasses the unique features of this esteemed institution.

Campus life at SCNU has been a tapestry of experiences that have shaped my personal and academic growth. As a second-year graduate student majoring in vocational and technical education at the College of Urban Culture, I have had the privilege of exploring the diverse facets of SCNU's campus life. The campus landmarks, such as the inspiring statue of Kang Youwei and the inviting Xiyuan canteen, have become symbols of inspiration and nourishment for both the mind and soul.

My journey at SCNU has been characterized by an unwavering commitment to learning and personal development. Joining the SCNU Graduate Student Union has provided me with invaluable opportunities to enhance my skills in public relations and communication. Through my involvement in the union, I have not only learned the art of effective communication but also gained practical experience in organizing events and spreading awareness about the vibrant culture of SCNU. Moreover, my time spent in the classroom has been transformative. Courses such as "Cultural Frontiers," "Thesis Writing Guidelines," and "SPSS" have equipped me with the knowledge and tools necessary for academic excellence.
The faculty members at SCNU have been instrumental in my growth as a student. Their dedication, patience, and unwavering support have fostered an environment conducive to learning and development. Additionally, my relationship with my roommates, Li Ziwen, Geng Wenwen, and Zhang Qian, has been a source of strength and camaraderie. Together, we have navigated the challenges of academic life, creating cherished memories and forming lifelong friendships.

Beyond the confines of the classroom, SCNU offers a vibrant array of campus activities. I have actively participated in the street dance club, where I have honed my dancing skills and showcased my passion in various competitions and talent shows. The sense of community and shared enthusiasm within the club has enriched my experience at SCNU, allowing me to forge connections with fellow dancers who share the same love for movement and self-expression.
SCNU's emphasis on research and competition has also provided me with incredible growth opportunities. Under the guidance of my mentor, Professor Nadeem from Pakistan, I have delved into the fields of journalism and international communication. Through my research projects, I have acquired valuable research methodologies, such as content analysis and news framing, which have broadened my understanding of the media landscape and its societal impact.

No exploration of SCNU would be complete without mentioning the delectable culinary offerings on campus. From the tantalizing skewers to the savory dumplings and the mouthwatering roast duck rice, the campus canteens have become a hub of gastronomic delight. These culinary adventures have not only satisfied my appetite but have also provided opportunities for socializing and bonding with friends.
In conclusion, my journey at SCNU has been a transformative one, filled with personal growth, unforgettable memories, and a deep appreciation for the institution's rich heritage. As SCNU celebrates its 90th anniversary, I am honored to be part of this vibrant school, where passion, knowledge, and inspiration converge. SCNU has not only provided me with a solid academic foundation but has also nurtured my curiosity, creativity, and resilience. I am excited to continue my journey at SCNU, embracing the opportunities that lie ahead, and contributing to the legacy of this esteemed institution.
