Thus here we are, ready to help you find an escape and get you involved in everyday exercise.

Carefully taken students needs into consideration, our Shipai campus now offers great sport opportunities and facilities. It boasts two stadiums, a gymnasium, a 50-meter swimming pool and an extensive array of outdoor and indoor courts.

Track and field in our school is an ideal place for after-dinner jogging and other aerobic activities. Long jump, chin-ups and throwing events are also encouraged here for building muscles and strength. You can also hire the ground in daytime for 7-vs-7 or 11-vs-11 soccer matches and kick off an exciting journey of competition.
If you are a super basketball fan, then make sure you won’t miss the indoor and outdoor basketball courts. Some of them are newly renovated and will prepare you a pleasant atmosphere which would, to some extent, unleash your talents.
Basketball ground on the west side of the campus
The sports training venue at SCNU is also fantastic, with a wide choice of sports for fun, health or serious competition. Here you can try forehand smash or diving save in badminton matches, chop and drive in a table tennis game and, maybe the smoothest of all, an elegant dance in physical training courses.

If ball games are not your cup of tea, the Public Sports Building next to Tian Jiabing Education Academy could be your right destination. On its upper floor are dozens sets of fitness equipment. The main workout area primarily consists of free weights including dumbbells, barbells and exercise machines, which use gears, cables to guide the trainer. This is really a place for people who want to embark on the journey of burning calories.

Of course, there are still many other places worth exploring such as our swimming pool next to track and field and tennis courts on both the south and north sides of the campus. The main point is that we should keep ourselves moving instead of spending much time staring at screens or staying sedentary. As the saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," being fit and physically competitive is also of vital importance. Let us endeavor to lead a more vibrant life in the ivory tower and make our daily progress contribute to our success!
