SCNU vice president Wang Chunchao was invited to attend the 7th UN Job Fair, during which he had in-depth exchange with participating heads of international organizations. The move lays a foundation for recommending SCNU students to intern at international institutions and for facilitating faculty members to carry out international research cooperation.
Specifically, Wang held dialogues with heads of the United Nations Development Programme, Sciences Po (formally the Paris Institute of Political Studies), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, among others. Officials from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and other relevant departments of SCNU were also present at the event.

Human resources officials from more than 20 international organizations participated the event and engaged with teacher and student representatives from universities through one-on-one dialogues, forums on talent cultivation for international organizations, and booth consultations.
Hosted by the China Scholarship Council, the event was held in Suzhou, in east China’s Jiangsu province and Changsha, capital of Central China’s Hunan province from October 22 to 28. It aims to build bridges among Chinese universities, young people and international organizations, promote dialogue, and to further advance China’s efforts in cultivating and sending talents to international organizations.

The UN Job Fair has been successfully held six times and has become China’s largest institutionalized, large-scale, branded, and public-interest platform for promoting international organizations in China and matching them with talent.
