On November 29, South China Normal University and the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange signed a strategic cooperation agreement, which marks further cooperation between the two sides.
Yang Zhongmin, president of SCNU, and Wang Daquan, director of the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, on behalf of SCNU and Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange respectively, signed the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.
At the signing event, both sides engaged in discussions on cooperation in academic degree certification, international student services, and examination research, offering constructive suggestions and reaching preliminary consensus on cooperation mechanisms, specific projects, and long-term development goals.

Meeting in progress between CSCSE and SCNU delegations
Yang Zhongmin extended a warm welcome to Wang Daquan and his delegation and expressed gratitude for the long-term support from the Service Center in the development of SCNU. He provided an overview of the university, covering its history, disciplinary development, achievements in Hong Kong and Macao operations, and progress in the development of an international education demonstration zone. SCNU is actively expanding its overseas education framework of "two regions, three locations" - promoting cooperation with European regions, expanding collaboration with Southeast Asian regions, and advancing integrated development in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, i.e. the Greater Bay area, Yang said.
He spoke highly of the Service Center's influence in study abroad services and international resource integration, and hope for further cooperation in fields such as international student services, talent recruitment, and educational research on professional examinations and assessments for Hong Kong, Macao, and international contexts.

Wang also expressed hope that the signing of the agreement would serve as an opportunity to deepen collaboration with SCNU in fields including studying in China, overseas college development, and examination and assessment research, working together to support the high-quality development of China's education sector through high-level study abroad services.
