The national finals of the China Collegiate Computing Contest - Network Technology Challenge concluded on August 31 in Wenzhou, in Zhejiang province. Teams from the School of Artificial Intelligence at SCNU won one national gold award, three silver, and six bronze awards.

The 2022 undergraduate team, under the guidance of teachers Pan Jiahui and Yang Huan from the School of Artificial Intelligence, was awarded the national first prize for their project titled NAO Mind-Control: An Augmented Reality-Based Multimodal EEG-Robot System for Target Detection, Tracking, and Control.
It's also worth noting that the three advisors of the winning team, namely, Pan Jiahui, Ding Meirong and Su Yiling, were also honored with a special 10th anniversary commemorative award for their guidance.

The competition has seen the participation of 3,021 teams consisting of 14,345 students from 405 universities since it was launched in March. Ten teams from SCNU were shortlisted for the national finals.

The China Collegiate Computing Contest Network Technology Challenge is a national competition jointly organized by the Steering Committee of Computer Science and Technology Majors in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, the Steering Committee of Software Engineering Majors in Higher Education Institutions, the Steering Committee of University Computer Courses Teaching in Higher Education Institutions, and the National Association for Computer Education Research in Higher Education Institutions, which aims to drive innovation in network technology, foster industry-academia integration, and facilitate student scientific innovation and research commercialization.
