The 2025 SCNU New Year's Concert was held in the Music Hall on the University Town campus on December 29. The concert was streamed live to more than 110,000 people all around the world and over 600 people attended the concert in person.

In the opening speech, SCNU President Yang Zhongmin, extended warm New Year's greetings to all faculty and students, retired teachers, alumni at home and abroad, and friends who always support SCNU. He summarized SCNU's achievements in 2024 and introduced the arrangements for next year.
He pointed out that in 2024, SCNU firmly followed the guidance of Party, continued to promote the advancement of the "double first-class" development and emphasized teacher education. In 2025, SCNU will contribute to building itself into a world-class university.
The concert began with a bamboo flute concerto piece Legend of the White Snake, followed by The Night Wind Blows In My Heart, Xiangyun, Battle Steeds Galloping Ahead, Edelweiss, Yun xiang Hua xiang, Snow to the tune of Chin Yuan Chun, Shaolin Majestic Wind, and Cherie.
In the second half, the orchestra performed Above the moon, then came to My Chinese Heart, A Love Melody between Two Places, Castle in the Sky, Leading China, Ruyuan, Three Times to Your House, Cloud Palace Xunyin, The Typewriter and Descendants of the dragon.The concert ended with applause and cheers amidst the beautiful melody of Dance of the Golden Snake.
