SCNU won ten gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals in the finals of the 23rd China University Swimming Championship, breaking two competition records. SCNU also ranked fourth in the team scoring for Group C Ⅰ (High-Level Group), rising to the top tier nationwide.

Competition in Group C Ⅰ (High-Level Group) was fierce. Across the 17 individual events of Group C Ⅰ, a total of 27 individuals reached the Master Sportsman level—the highest domestic level of athletic ranking, just below the International Master Sportsman level. Nonetheless, SCNU managed to finish second in three relay races and rank fourth in the total team scoring.

A total of 21 athletes of the SCNU swimming team participated in the finals. They were led by dean Duan Rui, and instructed by coaches Zhang Meng, Zhao Miao, and Wen Zehua of the School of Physical Education and Sports Science.

Hosted by the China Student Sports Federation, the final competition of the 23rd China University Swimming Championship was concluded in Zhenjiang, in Jiangsu province, on November 30. A total of 1,057 athletes from 150 universities across the country participated in the competition, marking a historical high in both the number of participating institutions and the number of athletes.
