From November 23-24, a delegation led by Yang Zhongmin, president of SCNU visited the Hong Kong Financial Services Institute (HKFSI) to deepen cooperation in jointly running schools.

Yang Zhongmin and his delegation met with Wang Zhongying, president of HKFSI, Zhang Yimin, dean of HKFSI and other representatives of the Institute. Yang Zhongmin introduced the ideas, overall layout, strategic planning and national policy background of South China Normal University running schools in Hong Kong, and recognized the achievements that HKFSI has achieved in academic qualification, degree education and professional training over the past 22 years.

Zhang Yimin introduced the background and advantages of HKFSI and shared his ideas on deepening cooperation with SCNU. Wang Zhongying and her colleagues also put forward their suggestions about enhancing cooperation. Besides, both sides exchanged views on policy coordination and risk control and reached consensus in this regard.

During the visit, the delegation also visited the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) as it celebrated its 30th anniversary. The EdUHK ranks top 3 in Asia & 20th in the World in Education.
