The academic annual conference (2024) of the Professional Committee on Modern Education Administration of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy (CSEDS) were held on the Shipai campus from November 9 to 10. This meeting created an exchange platform for experts and scholars to exchange views on education management.

Pan Wenqing, vice president of SCNU, hoped that the participating experts would provide theoretical support for developing a scientific theoretical system of educational management and offer suggestions for the high-quality development of modern education administration in China, so as to better integrate into the trends of the era of education globalization and strengthen the development into an education country.

Kang Ning, executive vice president of the CSEDS, said that the purpose of this annual conference is to promote the reform and practical innovation of the modern education management system and mechanism. He hoped that researchers and practitioners would jointly discuss issues such as the reform and development of education administration, and contribute to the theoretical and practical research of education management in China.
The conference consisted of 10 keynote reports, 32 thematic reports in sub-forums and 40 special reports in the graduate forum. The conference provided a platform for experts in education administration to exchange ideas. The successful organization of the conference could have a profound impact on the knowledge system of China's independent education administration to promote China's modernization.
The annual conference, sponsored by the Professional Committee on Modern Education Administration of the CSEDS and organized by the School of Education of SCNU, attracted around 300 experts, masters and doctoral students from nearly 40 universities and scientific research institutions across the country.
