SCNU students won one first prize, one second prize, and two third prizes in the finals of the 2024 "Tin Ka Ping Cup" Teaching Skills Competition for full-time professional degree students of the master of education in Mental Health Education which was held from October 25 to 27.

A total of 366 candidates from 85 universities across the country took part in the preliminary rounds. After initial review, 183 candidates were shortlisted for the finals, including the four students from the School of Psychology of SCNU. The finals consisted of two parts: firstly, on-the-spot defense and secondly, simulated lectures. The four SCNU students achieved excellent results with a wealth of specialist knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and outstanding overall ability.
The "Tin Ka Pin Cup" Teaching Skills Competition for full-time professional degree of the master of education students is the highest level and largest teaching skills competition for master's degree in Education in China. It aims to showcase the teaching skills of full-time graduate students of the Master of Education degree and the achievements of their universities, thus promoting the exchange of teaching experience and fostering talent cultivation. This year's competition was held by Shaanxi Normal University and Yunnan Normal University.
