The third National Universities Teaching Skills Competition for Physical Education Teachers was held at South China University of Technology from October 10-13. SCNU teacher Ma Jinjin, won the first prize in the volleyball event and the second place in the total score.

In the competition, Ma Jinjin won the judge's unanimous approval, based on her solid theoretical foundation, innovative teaching methods and excellent on-site adaptability.
The competition set three events, including volleyball, gymnastics and badminton. Each event included teaching (guidance) design and practice, physical fitness and skill test. The competition was hosted by National College Physical Education Teaching Steering Committee, with more than 400 contestants from 103 universities across the country participating in the high-level competition.
