"Being Young, Fearless", a SCNU promotional video for undergraduate admission 2024 was officially released on June 19.

Two Chinese terms are frequently mentioned in the video: "先生" (xian sheng) and  "后生" (hou sheng). The former refers to senior teachers, the latter to the younger. By contrasting the young with the senior, we not only show respect to senior teachers who uphold cultural heritage and the tradition of teacher education, but also give recognition to creative and innovative young people who dare to explore the unknown.

We believe young SCNU students will become capable of taking on significant responsibilities and making their contributions to the development of the society as they learn, draw strength from, and outperform their senior teachers.
