The SCNU rope skipping team won a total of 14 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 3 bronze medals in the 2024 National Rope Skipping League held in Beihai, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from April 19 to 22.

The team consisting of ten undergraduate students is coached by Luo Feng, a lecturer from the School of Physcial Education and Sports Science. Notably, Wang Zhihui, a Grade 2021 undergraduate of the School of Physical Education and Sports Science, performed brilliantly in the competition with four gold and two silver medals. Wang expressed gratitude for the teacher's encouragement and showed a firm belief that sturdy training was the necessary path to climb the peak of success. The excellent performance in this competition was not only a recognition of her diligent training, but also a solid foundation for her entry into future competitions.

This competition was the opening game of the National Rope Skipping League and a warm-up competition for the 2024 Asian Rope Skipping Championships. It brought together 73 teams from 8 provinces and municipalities including Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Shaanxi, with a total of nearly 1,000 rope skipping masters.
