SCNU won the national award for outstanding music works in the category of Literary and Artistic Programs at the 2023 Industry TV Honor Ceremony, which was held on January 6 in the city of Chongqing in southwest China.
The prize-winning works named The Sea of Stars was created by teachers and students from the School of Information Technology in Education (SITE).The work aims at commemorating the magnificent centennial struggle of the Communist Party of China. It is a literary and artistic work that focuses on showing the collective portrait of front-line workers in TV education. It is also a concentrated display of the college's TV education and teaching achievements recently.
As one of the important annual activities of the Industry Television Committee of the China Television Association, the 2023 Outstanding Industry TV Program Collection and Screening Activity is themed "Carrying forward Chinese Civilization and Writing a New Chapter of the Times" with awards in seven categories.

Li Jianqin and Zhou Jing, both teachers from (SITE) and the main creative representatives of the works, attended the award ceremony as well as participated in the Outstanding Industry Television Works Creation and Exchange Activities held by the committee on January 5 and 6.

Since 1989, SITE has won ten national teaching achievement awards, which is the only one of its kind for colleges and universities in China.
