The 2023 National Conference on Theoretical Computer Science (NCTCS) was held in SCNU from July 21 to 23. It has been an event which has strengthened the communication and cooperation between the School of Computer Science and experts worldwide.
Hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), and jointly organized by the CCF Technical Committee on Theoretical Computer Science and SCNU, the conference invited renowned scholars in the field of theoretical computer science from all over the world to present academic reports, conduct extensive academic activities, and showcase the latest research results. More than 300 delegates attended the conference.

Sun Xiaoming, director of the technical committee, expressed sincere gratitude to SCNU for its efforts in organizing this conference and a warm welcome to the seven specially invited experts and all the participants. Then, the seven experts made keynote speeches respectively.
Two sessions were held for the presentations of accepted papers during the conference and a separate session was for the “CCF-Huawei Huyanglin Fund-Theoretical Computer Science Special Project” only.
Recently, the NCTCS has become one of the most important academic platforms for theoretical computer science in China. So far, it has been held in more than 20 regions across China, providing an opportunity for scholars in theoretical computer science and other related fields to exchange ideas and cooperate. The successful organization of this conference will certainly promote the high-quality development of discipline construction of computer science, scientific research innovation and personnel training in SCNU, further broadening the academic horizon and promoting further academic exchange.
