The teams of SCNU won 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals in the finals of the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition held at Nanchang University in East China's Jiangxi province.
“Teenleader Education”, a project created by Teenleader Education Investment Co., Ltd and led by the School of Foreign Studies and the School of Entrepreneurship, won a silver medal in the national competition. It is committed to creating a high-quality ecosystem of research-learning and developing a guiding role in students’ learning development and life planning through research-learning travel activities. The company has provided research-learning curricula for 44 schools and offered service to over 24,000 students.
Another tech startup, Guangzhou Yinshi Technology Co., Ltd, led by the School of Entrepreneurship and the School of Physics and Telecommunication Engineering, also won a silver medal in the final. Owning over 20 software copyrights, the company helps small and medium-sized enterprises to complete their digital transformation and has served about 300 enterprises with an annual turnover of over 10 million in 2020.
Since the launch of this competition, SCNU has held many meetings, some of which on line, on its campuses to introduce it in detail. At the same time, the School of Entrepreneurship has also organized an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pioneer Training Camp, Seed Camp and Training Camp specially, inviting entrepreneurial mentors and experts to give careful guidance to participants.
The competition was held at both the provincial and national level. Only projects that passed the provincial-level competition could enter the national competition. This year, SCNU got the best achievement in its history in the provincial competition with 6 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 9 bronze medals.
A total of 9.6 million people from 121 countries and regions and 4,347 colleges and universities participated in the seventh competition with 2.28 million entries. The award rate in the national competition was below one thousandth.
The China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held for seven years consecutively, and now it has become the "first competition of China's University Students' innovative talents training" with the widest range, the highest specification, and the strongest influence.
