On December 21, the international seminar on Chinese language education and the award ceremony of the second national micro course competition for Chinese language teaching for postgraduates were held at South China Normal University.
The event, held by the College of International Culture of South China Normal University, was sponsored by the Institute of Chinese culture of Beijing Normal University, and Tangfeng Chinese Education Technology Ltd.. Hundreds of lecturers and students from Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanghai International Studies university, etc. attended the meeting.
On the morning of 21 December, the International Seminar on Chinese Language Education against the Background of Education Informatization was held in the lecture hall of the College of International Culture of SCNU. Professor Zuo Pengjun, dean of the School of International Culture of SCNU, expressed his gratitude and extended a welcome to the participants, and wished for more exchange to promote the cause of international education of the Chinese language.

During the seminar, Zheng Yanqun professor from Chinese Language International Education of Beijing Language and Culture University, presented a report entitled "Topic selection, design and application of Chinese language micro-courses" based on evaluation examples of this micro-course competition. Professor Zhao Yang, dean of the School of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) of Peking University, analyzed the transition from "Chinese international education" to "International Chinese education" from a macro perspective.
Professor Wang Xuesong from the School of Chinese Culture of Beijing Normal University made the theme report of "discussion on international education characteristics of Chinese teaching micro-courses" from the perspective of science and technology which is changing education. The two aspects of education informatization are related to teaching resources and the literacy of the training objects. The successful holding of the second national micro-course competition for Chinese teaching for graduate students indicates that the ongoing road of education informatization 2.0 is successful.
In the afternoon of December 21, the Award Ceremony of the Second National Micro Class Competition on Chinese Teaching for postgraduates was held in a lecture hall at SCNU. The award ceremony was divided into three parts. The first part was to present the national award. Li Jinsong, President of Beijing Tangfeng Chinese Education Technology Ltd, pointed out the challenges and opportunities of the development of Chinese language international education in the new era, and proposed to "make Chinese language easy to learn and the essence of Chinese culture accessible".
The second part was the award ceremony of the “Tang Cup" of Chinese Micro Class competition. Liu Ling, the party secretary of the College of International Culture read out the Decision on the Recognition 2nd "Tang Cup" Internet + the Chinese international education micro class competition held by the College of International Culture of SCNU.

The third part was the Handover Ceremony of the third session of the national postgraduate in Chinese language education micro class. Wang Xuesong, on behalf of the organizing committee, announced Tianjin University as the next organizer. Secretary Liu Ling, on behalf of the College of International Culture of SCNU, handed over the flag to Du Xiuping, vice dean of the institute of international education of Tianjin University. The organizing committee expressed the hope that the next round of micro-course works can add a cross-cultural communication class, and turn the domestic competition into a global competition, so as to serve the global international Chinese education movement.
The success of this conference has deepened people's understanding of the informatization of Chinese language international education, further promoted the practice and popularization of the innovative application of information technology in online and offline classrooms, and enhanced the co-construction and sharing of high-quality Chinese language international education resources.
