From May 19 to 26, a delegation led by vice president of SCNU Wang Chunchao, visited Germany and Sweden to strengthen cooperation and exchange with local universities and host international talent recruitment fair in the two countries.
In Berlin, the delegation attended the annual AMBA & BGA Global Conference, during which Wang Chunchao delivered a keynote speech, introducing SCNU's development, history, academic strengths, disciplinary optimization, and curriculum innovations in the context of AI. He also shared insights into the university's curriculum reform and achievements in business education.
Also at the forum, the delegation of SCNU held discussions with Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA), Professor Wang Chongming, the China coordinator, Victor Hedenberg, director of the BGA Membership Alliance, and George Iliev, director of global certification and project innovation. They gained insights into BGA's global operating model and its cooperation progress in the Asia-Pacific region, while advancing SCNU's BGA reaccreditation process. The 2025 AMBA & BGA Global Conference brought together leaders from AMBA & BGA-accredited business schools worldwide.
The delegation also met with representatives from leading universities, including the London Business School, King's College London, Durham University, Porto Business School, Toulouse Business School and Maastricht University. The delegation explored the establishment of multi-level, all-round cooperative relationships around topics such as international accreditation experience, discipline development, research collaboration, international curriculum development, and faculty exchange.

The delegation then visited the Mediadesign Hochschule (MD.H) in Berlin, where they discussed potential collaborations in media design, student internships and digital education with its president, Martin Adam.

In Sweden, the delegation met with scholars at Uppsala University, including professor Ciabuschi Francesco, director of the International Business and Research Center of the Department of Business Studies and professor Li Chuanzhong of the Department of Economics. Consensus on cooperation was reached regarding research collaboration, faculty and student exchange, and joint talent cultivation.

Global talent recruitment seminars were hosted by SCNU in both Germany and Sweden, presenting SCNU's educational philosophy, development strategies and talent recruitment policies. They also met with local alumni, and a special "Alumni Home" plaque was unveiled in Berlin to foster a stronger alumni network.

Another key stop included visits to the Chinese Embassies in Germany and Sweden. During these visits the delegation gave information about SCNU's educational philosophy, internationalization efforts and talent policies, receiving positive feedback from education counselors Zhou Zhiqiang in Germany and Huang Liqiong in Sweden.
Beyond expanding and deepening SCNU's partnerships with universities in Germany and Sweden, this visit has expanded global engagement and enhanced the academic excellence of SCNU.
