On November 18, secretary of the CPC SCNU Committee Wang Binwei met a delegation led by Li Wenli, president of the Thai Alumni Association of SCNU to promote exchanges and strengthen cooperation between the two sides.

Wang Binwei, welcomed Li Wenli and her delegation’s back to SCNU and appreciated the support of the Thai Alumni Association for the development of SCNU. He pointed out that alumni are precious to the university as they can help reflect on SCNU's educational quality, level, and social reputation. He hoped that the Thai Alumni Association could exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Thai universities, assist SCNU in overseas recruitment, and serve the innovation and entrepreneurship of alumni.
Li Wenli shared her educational experience at SCNU, her personal entrepreneurial journey, and the work situation of the Thai Alumni Association, expressing her gratitude towards SCNU and the teachers. She said that, “the alumni association is not only a bond that connects alumni emotionally, but also a bridge that links and integrates resources.” In the future, the Thai Alumni Association will improve its organizational structure and functions, work harder to assist the growth of alumni and promote the development of SCNU.

Liu Jianwen, vice president of SCNU, introduced the development positioning of SCNU's Foshan campus as "new engineering, internationalization, and new business studies," hoping to strengthen cooperation with the Thai Alumni Association of SCNU.
At the meeting, the two sides also had an in-depth exchange on topics such as the development of SCNU's alumni association and student innovation and entrepreneurship. The Thai Alumni Association of SCNU was established in 2014 and is affiliated with the School of International Culture Alumni Association.
