On June 24 and 25, a delegation from SCNU, led by Jiang Luan, vice dean of the School of Economics and Management, attended the 2024 AMBA & BGA Accreditation Forum of the Business Graduates Association Forum (AMBA & BGA), and the Association of MBAs, held in Prague, Czech Republic.

During the forum, the delegation of SCNU engaged in a comprehensive discussion with Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of the AMBA & BGA, and Richard Turner, accreditation manager of the AMBA & BGA. The two sides had a discussion on how the School of Economics and Management of SCNU can further apply for AMBA certification after obtaining the BGA gold medal certification, and how to use the AMBA & BGA platform to enhance cooperation with international business schools. Andrew Main Wilson affirmed the enthusiasm of the School of Economics and Management of SCNU for participating in the global activities and affairs of AMBA & BGA. He encouraged SCNU to integrate into the BGA membership network actively, aiming to expand the scope of exchange and cooperation.
In addition, the delegation also had an intensive discussions with colleagues from business schools in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Romania, Lebanon, Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries and regions. They discussed the process and experience of accreditation as well as the practical experience of business school education and management.

The two-day 2024 AMBA & BGA Accreditation Forum featured 6 keynote speeches and 1 roundtable discussion. More than 100 representatives from over 50 business schools in China and other parts of the world attended. A wide range of topics, including the process of AMBA & BGA accreditation to recertification, challenges faced by business schools and their coping strategies, the latest development trends of MBA education, the parallel management strategy of international accreditation, data management in certification, and the sharing of practical experiences of successful universities were discussed.
