An SCNU delegation led by Peng Biyu, dean of the School of Economics and Management, was invited by the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA) to attend the 2024 AMBA & BGA Global Deans and Directors Conference in Budapest, Hungary.

The conference was designed to bring together world-leading deans and directors to discuss the more prevalent issues in business education strategy, attracting more than 300 delegates from over 100 business schools around the world. The four-day conference, held from May 12 to 15, featured 16 thematic forums and 16 keynote speeches. It covered the key issues that will impact business schools around the world, such as the latest trends in global MBA education, business school management strategies, business education and Artificial Intelligence, lifelong learning, the latest updates on AMBA & BGA accreditation criteria and the re-accreditation processes.
Over 100 delegates from 30 Chinese business schools participated in the event. The organizer held a special forum for the Chinese delegations, inviting the deans of each school, and organized multiple parallel sub-forums where participants shared educational and management experiences of many international universities. Dean Peng Biyu addressed at the thematic forum "Distinctiveness of Chinese Business Schools". He shared how business schools can integrate advantageous disciplines to promote the high-quality development of business education and research through the case of SCNU's integration of education and psychology.

During the conference, SCNU's delegation also had face-to-face interaction with George Iliev, director of Accreditation at AMBA, discussing the School of Economics and Management's further cooperation with global business schools through the AMBA & BGA.
