Eleven education programs of SCNU have been approved and will receive funding from the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), according to the list for the 2023 NSSFC Educational Programs, issued recently. A total of 350 projects will be funded across the country this year, and SCNU ranks third nationally and first at the provincial level, setting a record high in the number of approved projects.
Ke Qingchao, a professor of the School of Information Technology in Education, won the key program with his project "Research on the Construction and Operating Mechanism of Smart Education of China".
The other ten projects include seven general programs and three youth projects, covering eight branches of education, i.e., Educational Information Technology, Higher Education, Education Economy and management, Educational Psychology, Educational Learning Theories, Moral Education, Education History, and Elementary Education. All projects are problem-oriented, striving to resolve core issues in quality development of national education.
In recent years, SCNU has prioritized national projects, undertaken various organized scientific research activities, and improved its organizational planning. This year, the Office of Humanities and Social Sciences has actively engaged professors and experts in related fields and organized a series of training sessions for project counselling and evaluation. Through collaborative efforts, SCNU has continuously made breakthroughs and remarkable achievements.
