On August 30, the closing ceremony of the "2018 Guangdong- Gyeonggi-do International Exchange Summer Camp for University Students", hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and South China Normal University (SCNU), was held at South China Normal University. Tan Weihong, deputy director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of SCNU, Kim Tungsee, head of International Department of Ajou University and Professor Yan Kwai, leader of the Korean visiting group attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Tan Weihong gave a brief summary of the summer camp and its related work, and expressed her vision for future cooperation between the two parties. Student representatives from both China and South Korea shared what they had learnt in the past two weeks, commemorated their feelings about the summer camp, and expressed sincere gratitude to people from both sides for their hard work. Besides, members from five groups of China and South Korea demonstrated and reported on their cooperative entrepreneurship project. Then, all participants were called to vote for the "most beautiful photos" during the best photo selection activity. The atmosphere was sympathetic as they watched the summer camp video. At the end of the ceremony, participants from both sides received their certificates honoring their excellent performance at the summer camp.
