为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称“中心”）设立国际中文教师奖学金，聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。

根据中心发布的《国际中文教师奖学金申请办法（2024年）》及相关文件要求，公布《华南师范大学2024年国际中文教师申请办法》如下。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到华南师范大学学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业。

To meet the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate Chinese language education around the world, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further their studies in international Chinese language education and related programs at South China Normal University.

资助对象

1. 非中国籍人士，身心健康，品学兼优。

2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。

3. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作。

4. 年龄一般在16至35周岁之间（统一以2024年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁,本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁。

Eligibility

• Be a non-Chinese citizen, in good physical and mental health, in good academic and behavioral standing.

• Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of our university.

• Be interested in Chinese language education and related work.

• Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2024. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.

申请流程

 2024年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心国际中文教师奖学金板块申请（http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login）。

登录奖学金网站，查询推荐机构与接收院校，第一志愿选择“华南师范大学”,在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按我校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

申请人须同时登录华南师范大学国际学生在线管理服务系统 (http://istudy.scnu.edu.cn) 在线提交申请。

Application Procedure

Online registration will be available from March 1, 2024 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website（http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login）.

You may search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions, choose South China Normal University as your first choice, submit application materials online, track the application process. Scholarship winners must confirm with SCNU to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out scholarship certificate online, and register at SCNU website (http://istudy.scnu.edu.cn) at the same time.

申请截止日期（以北京时间为准）

1. 4月15日（2024年7月入学申请者）

2. 5月15日（2024年9月入学申请者）

3. 10月31日（2025年3月入学申请者）

中心委托专家集中评审：根据HSK、HSKK考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前3个月完成奖学金评审工作，发布评审结果。

Application Deadline (Beijing Time)

1. April 15th (for programmes commencing in July 2024)

2. May 15th  (for programmes commencing in September 2024)

3. October 31st  (for programmes commencing in March 2025)

CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK levels and scores, geographical distribution, and other factors. The results will be published about three months before the program starts.

关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者

1. 在职中文教师

在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。

2. 汉语桥获奖者

在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向我校提交申请材料。

Policies regarding In-service Chinese language teachers and Chinese Bridge Winners

• In-service Chinese language teachers need to provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.

• Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions need to submit your application documents along with scholarship certificates to SCNU directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

申请材料

1. 与所有申请者有关的证明材料

1）护照照片页扫描件。

2）HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。

3）推荐机构负责人签发的推荐信。

2．与学历生有关的证明材料 

4）提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。

5）国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。

6）国际中文教育专业博士须提供两封相关专业领域内的副教授(含)以上或具有相当专业技术职称专家的推荐信。提供中文个人陈述（含对报考学科专业的认识、拟定研究计划，3000字左右)。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。

3.在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。

4.未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

5.申请者还须提供我校要求的其他证明材料。

Application Documents

A.  For all applicants

a) A scanned copy of the passport photo page. 

b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK, HSKK tests(within two-year validity).  

c) A Reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institutions.  

B. For degree program applicants  

d) A certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation), and an official transcript.

e) Applicants of the Scholarship for a Master`s Degree in International Chinese language education are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China.

f) Applicants of the Scholarship for a Doctor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide two reference letters from professors or associate professors or experts with equivalent professional titles in relevant fields and a 3,000-word personal statement written in Chinese (including knowledge of the intended area of study and research proposal). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.

C. In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.

D. Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

E. Applicants shall provide additional documents as required by SCNU.

其它 Miscellaneous

1.一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。 

2. 申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的，概不受理。

3. 申请材料弄虚作假或非本人填写提交的，一经查实，申请资格将被取消。

4. 入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

4. 学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。

• In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within 3 years are not eligible for the one-semester study program and one-year study program.

• Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be accepted.

• Applicants will be disqualified from application in case of the fact that application materials are found fraudulent or application materials are completed and submitted by someone else.

• Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship. 

• Degree students are subject to the annual assessment according to the Annual Assessment Procedures of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.
